It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Lee Elam of Tulsa, Oklahoma, born in Chelsea, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 7, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Earl and Bessie Elam; his wife Niva Elam; and his sisters, Earlene Reynolds and Caroline Maybee.
He is survived by: his sons, Steve Elam (Paula) of Nowata, Scott Elam (Sandra) of Pryor, Barry Elam (Shannon) of Pryor, Oklahoma and Chris King (Kristen) of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; his sisters, Shirley Stanberry of Tulsa and Linda Clubb of Dallas, Texas; his grandchildren, Kyle, Juli, Tiffany, Kasi, Erin, Chelsea, Drew, Mark and Maddison; and his stepgrandchildren, Aaron Ford, Alex Ford, Austin Ford, Vicki Parks, Michelle Nunn, Derek Nunn, Chande Stacy and Macee Bell. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
