He was predeceased by: his parents, Dixie and Waddie. He is survived by: his wife Lea Ann; his children, Mandi, Sam (Jes), Susie (Luis) and Micah; his sister Cathy (Dale); and his granddaughter Bella.
His major contribution to the homeschool was teaching the kids Oklahoma history, using a textbook from the '60's which the kids declared looked as old as the state itself.
