He was predeceased by: his parents, William Granville Swartz and Mary Jordan Swartz; and his brother Danny Swartz (Shelly Swartz). He is survived by: his daughter Mary Michele; his wife Kari Bell Swartz; his son-in-law Zac Davis; his son Jordan Swartz; and his stepdaughters, Sherah Icenogle and Savannah Delaney.

In lieu of flowers the family would like to ask for donations to Susan G. Komen for breast cancer research in honor of his daughter Mary.
