She was predeceased by: her parents, William Manley Brown and Mary Alma Brown (Smelley); her sister Francis Appleby (Rufus Appleby); her children, Charles (Carolyn), Alice Gant Ramsey and Pamela Gant; and her grandchildren, Rachel Gant and Brian Potter.
She is survived by: her brother John Brown (Nell Brown); her daughter Mary Alma Gant Anderson (Keith Anderson); her stepson-in-law Doug Hand (Pam) of Sand Springs; her grandchildren, Lisa Tucker (Jon) of Sand Springs, Mary Morris (Sean) of Collinsville, Christina Gant Hitchcock (Derek Goleman) of Tulsa, Charles Ray Gant Jr. (Natalie) of Tulsa, Jeff Potter of Cleveland, Katherine Anderson and Joseph Rodriquez of Washington State; and her stepgrandson Dwaine Hand (Shannon) of Tulsa. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren and 14 great -great -grandchildren and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Olivet Baptist Church (155 N 65th W Ave, Tulsa, OK 74127).
