He was predeceased by: his parents, Mattie B. Morris and Jimmy Fields; and his siblings, Emma Jean Fields-Hall, Brenda Lee Fields, Katherine Lynn Thurman-Jordan and Authur Lee Morris.

He is survived by: his brother Josiah Robert Lee Morris. He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
