It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jean Thomas of Tuttle, Oklahoma, who passed away on May 28, 2026, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ervin Abraham Sasser and Katie Belle Sasser (Powell); her husband James "Jim" Thomas; her siblings, Ruth Butler, Wanda Wade, Ralph Joseph Sasser and Tommy Sasser; and her granddaughters, Karis Danielle Thomas and Abby Nicole Thomas.
She is survived by: her sons, J. B. Thomas of Tuttle, Richard A. Thomas of Oklahoma City, Jimmy J. Thomas (Jennifer) of Mustang, Dennis W. Thomas of Tuttle and Donald G. Thomas (Theresa); her grandchildren, Kaitlyn D. Thomas, Jacob Thomas, Jonathan Thomas and Zachary Thomas; and her niece Jean Ann Decker.
