She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Dean and Stella Mae Hanley (Roberts); her husband Delbert Gist; her siblings, Clarence "Bud" Hanley, Jean Gordon, Margie Black and Lois Ruffin; her children, Doyle Dewayne Murphy and Doris Jean "Jeanie" Cameron; and her grandchildren, Kaleb Hill, Zack Hale and Laure Jane Land.
She is survived by: her daughter Diane Houck (Richard); her sister Pat Sanford; her grandchildren, Audrey Hill, LaShawna Harbeston, Barbara Murphy, Natalie Hale, Stephen Houck and Martha Cauley; her great grandchildren, Amber Collis, Ashley Hill, Tracy Lugo, Ashlyn Driver, Heather Cauley, Wanda Cauley, Melanie Nelson, Jasper Francis, Nathan Houck, Nevaeh Hale, Abigail Hale and Cameron Hale; her great great grandchildren, Braelynn Ethridge, Jeracho Garien, Anthony Lugo, Kaiser Hamilton, Lailah Driver, Brison Cauley, Paislee Cauley, Tripp Nelson and Zachary Roach; and her grandsons, Doug Land and Rainey Land.
