It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Lee Johnson Jr. of Valliant, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 12, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Lee Johnson, Sr. and Lois "Tinker" Goodson (Erwin). He is survived by: his wife Maxine Johnson; his daughters, Shandra Wright (Kent) of Valliant, OK and Shelly Hisaw (Brent) of Valliant, OK; his grandchildren, Kendra Jackson (Chris), Karlee White (Collin), Kolby Wright (Emily), Kanyon Fuller (Josh) and Karsyn Hisaw; his great grandchildren, Kryslee, Kendyl, Clay Jackson, Harley, Haleigh, Cyrus, Cyler White, Ellie Wright and Harlow Fuller; his brothers, Mike Goodson, Jerry Goodson and Bobby Goodson; and his daughter Sandy Gaskey.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Valliant Church of God (612 N Dalton Ave, Valliant, OK 74764). A burial will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at the Valliant Cemetery (21640 US-70, Valliant, OK 74764).
