He is survived by: his sons, Matthew Peters of Sallisaw, OK and Austin Peters of Sallisaw, OK; and his siblings, Michael Baker of Negley, TX, Ivan Baker of Wright City, OK, Reggie Baker of Wright City, OK, Rayburn Baker of Wright City, OK, Madison "Bo" Baker, Jr. of Moore, OK, Edwanna Briley of Hugo, OK, Avis Tuggwell of Wright City, OK and Myrna Taker of Jay, OK. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Miller & Miller Funeral Home - Valiant (201 Wilson St, Valliant, OK 74764). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
