He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis "Frank" Burton and Lavada Mills (Skeen); his siblings, Rene Sullivan, Juanita Keenan (George), Penny Nichols (Johnny) and Buford Burton (Darlene); and his siblings-in-law, Faye Morgan, Bill Davis, Pat Morgan and Charles Foster.
He is survived by: his wife Deanna Kaye Smith; his children, Eddie Burton and Darla Wright (Rex Vandagriff); his grandchildren, Denver Kilcrease, Emily Kilcrease, Cherokee Wright, Gus Burton and Kaydie Brown; his sisters, Jessie Southerland (Jackie) and Louise Chandler (Earl); and his sisters-in-law, Joyce Davis and Darlene Foster. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
