Johnnie Lee Grundy Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 10, 2025, Johnnie Lee Grundy (Velma, Oklahoma) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex "Buster" Edmond Robinson and Opal Ilene Robinson (Walker); her grandson Jarid Letterman; her siblings, Preston, Roy, Ricky Robinson, Faye England and Jenny Lin; her nephews, Wayne Lynn Collins, Joshua England, Alton Teryl Lawrence and Darrell Davis Bryant; her great-niece Adysen Willis; and her brothers-in-law, Larry Orum and Buddy England.
She is survived by: her husband Temple Grundy; her children, Temple Lee Grundy (Suzy) of Marlow and Misty Lyn Lewis (Mike) of Duncan; her granddaughters, Chelsey Grundy, Sidney Suttles (Robert) and Emily Lewis; and her sisters, Audene Robinson (Jimmy Dale), Pam Orum and Mildred Work (Joe).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Alexander Gray Velma Chapel (308 Main St, Velma, OK 73491). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the New Velma Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Johnnie Lee Grundy Memorial Fund at the Oklahoma City Community Foundation.
