He was predeceased by: his parents, B. L. Freed and Ada Myrtle Freed; and his brothers, Ronald, Jim, Bob (Barbara) and Johnnie Mae Freed.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Sue Freed; and his children, Michael Freed, Cynthia Trick and Michelle Freed (Julia). He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
