It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald M. Whitton (Vinita, Oklahoma), who passed away on July 2, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Randel F. Whitton and Joan Whitton. He is survived by: his wife Sherre Jill of Langley; his daughters, Sarah Corstange of Grand Rapids and Megan Prater; his sisters, Susan Waite and Ginger Sherman; his siblings' children, Mandy Young, Chase Waite, Alex Sherman of Oklahoma City and Tulsa; his grandchildren, Isaac Corstange, Henry Corstange, Jude Prater and Evie Prater; and his brothers, Marines, Goog, Hunts, Dirty Dick, Knavel, Schamus, Haney, Helmers and Partridge.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Burckhalter-Highsmith Chapel (201 N Wilson St, Vinita, OK 74301).
