He was predeceased by: his parents, Gettis Fillman and Charlotte Marie "Lottie" Fillman (Parsons); his siblings, R. G. Thurman, Dale Thurman, Gerald Fillman, Ardena Black, Melvena Johnson and Bernice Lee; his daughter Lessia Conner; and his granddaughter Danielle Lauren Bamford.
He is survived by: his children, Peggy Babcock (Marty) of Vinita and Gene McComb (Misty) of Grove; and his siblings, Donald Fillman of Collegedale, TN and Noel Fillman of Dalton, Georgia. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
