He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Herbert Reed and Gladys Opal (Woodring). He is survived by: his wife Virginia Pool; and his children, Michael Reed (Linda) of McKinney, Leslie Smith (Shane) of Waterloo, Ontario and John Reed (Cassie) of Palmyra, Tennessee. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
