He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Nix and Shirley Nix; his brother Brian Scott; his grandchildren, Angelina Nix and Case Nix; and his cousin Larry J. Moody.
He is survived by: his wife Lisa Nix of Big Cabin; his sister Jan Kelsey of Claremore; his children, Cody Nix (Lesley) of Tahlequah and Nikki Molloy (Andy) of Tahlequah; his grandchildren, Cayden of Tahlequah, Lillie of Tahlequah, Laney Nix of Tahlequah, Daily of Tahlequah and Remi Molloy of Tahlequah; his nephews, Dan Childers (Barbara) of Langley and Josh Condray of Eucha; his siblings-in-law, Dale, Rhonda Charles, Greg, Gwenna Charles, Stan and Kerri Charles; and his friend Steve Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Burckhalter-Highsmith Chapel (201 N Wilson St, Vinita, OK 74301).
