He is survived by: his former wife Betty Jo Green; his wife Paula Bliss of Wagoner, OK; his children, Betty Lou Vanscoy of Porter, OK, Chris Sowers (Sherry) of Wagoner, OK and Gina Frazier (Johnny) of Muskogee, OK; his grandchildren, Jessica Zimney, Justin Sowers, Kortney McBride (William), Jeremy Sowers, Branden Vanscoy, Alissa Nicole Vanscoy, Miranda Hibbard, Steven Sowers, Jamie Sowers, Lexie, Aaron Adcock, Bailey Sowers, John Steele, Chelsea Richardson, Josh Sowers, Braxton Clark, Hunter Frazier and Logan Frazier; and his siblings, Joyce Wilhoit of Wagoner, OK, Carolyn Richards of Tulsa, OK and Timmy Sowers of Fort Gibson, OK. He is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren.
