Dorothy Jeane Padgett Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Jeane Padgett of Wagoner, Oklahoma, born in Lawton, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 10, 2023 at the age of 100. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dorothy Jeane Padgett to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Perry Elton McWhorter, Sr. and Dora Lee McWhorter (Aubrey); her husband Bryan Charles Padgett Jr.; her siblings, Perry McWhorter and Doris Green; her son Bryan Charles Padgett III (Patsy Carole Padgett); and her grandsons, Keith Padgett and Jeff Padgett.

She is survived by : her son Kent Padgett (Judy) of Spring; her grandchildren, Laura Padgett, Ken Coffman (Melinda) of Tomball, Bryanna Escobar (Gil) of Ennis, Lisa Gorham (Tony) of Tomball, Dean Coffman (Neill) of Norman and Sarah Padgett of Springdale; her friend Candy Tompkins of Wagoner; her daughter-in-law Paula Padgett of Oklahoma City; her nephew Alan McWhorter; and her niece Julie Fricklin of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.. She is also survived by her numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

On her 98th birthday, she received a Lifetime Achievement Award for over 4000 hours of volunteer service to the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) and was their oldest volunteer from Wagoner.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dorothy's name to the First United Method Church Building Fund.
