He was predeceased by: his parents, John Rheamon and Mary Lois Lewis (Curtis); and his sister Cindy Lewis. He is survived by: his children, Kathie Middleton (James), Darrell S. C. Lewis (Mishel), Sara Grant (Trae), Ricky Patterson of Duncan, Haylea Telford (Matt) and Geary Lewis of Altus, OK; his siblings, Shirley Rowland (Jasper), John S. Lewis of Lawton, Charles Lewis of Geronimo and Sherry Phillips (Mikeal); his grandchildren, Danika Middleton, Kandise Smith, Kevin Smith, Darrell Lewis Jr., Jaxon Lewis, Kylie Stein, Braeden Grant, Traesyn Grant, Maelie Grant, Summer Patterson and Shilo Patterson; his great grandchildren, Waylon Michael Smith and Weston Curtis Smith; and his caregiver Amanda Coats. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel (202 E Colorado Ave, Walters, OK 73572). Viewing was held on Sunday, September 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home - Walters (202 E Colorado Ave, Walters, OK 73572). A graveside service was held on Monday, September 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Walters Cemetery.
