She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James Louie Welch and Enid Bertha Cathey Welch; her brothers, Tommy, Jimmy and Charles; her husband Kent; her children, David Scherler (Kathy) of Wichita Falls, Texas. and Margot Cook (Jeff) of Woodway, Texas.; her grandsons, Kent, Kale Scherler of Haslet, Texas., Louie Cook (Nadia) of Corpus Christi and Peter Cook of China Spring, Texas.; and her great grandchildren, Anna Claire Scherler, David Kent Scherler IV, Logan Scherler and Cora Michelle Cook.
