He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Sims and Gladys Cabelka Sims; and his siblings, Raymond, Daymond and Florence.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, David Sims (Natalie) of Pottsboro, TX, Michelle Sims of Benbrook, TX and Caryn Pacheco (Kenny) of Lawton, OK; his grandchildren, Scott Sims (Tiffany), Kyle Pacheco (Hailey), Kayla Thompson (Dillon) and Virginia Sims; his great grandchildren, Alayna Compass and Presley Pacheco; his brother Edward Sims (Eva); and his nephews, Dale Sims (Ruth) and Terry Baughman (Trish).
