We bid farewell to Wesley Wayne Newman (Walters, Oklahoma), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 11, 2025 at the age of 93. Wesley Wayne touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley John and Pearl Estella Newman (Barber); his wives, Carol Ann and Virginia; his son Randy Newman; his stepson Randy Lovett; and his siblings, John Wendell, Imon, Allen Lee, Paul Newman and Wynola Eaton.
He is survived by: his daughter Ann Marie; his son-in-law Jimmy King of Walters; his son Robert; his daughter-in-law Karen Newman of Walters; his siblings, Philip Newman (Deanna), Mary Fern Stewart of Edmond and Melva Hines of Sulphur; his sisters-in-law, Francine Newman of Duncan, Marsha Newman of Duncan and Janette Lemons of Edmond; his grandchildren, Candi Gail Mays, Mickey, Kayla, Jordyn of Pink, OK, Kasie Lynn Thompson, Shane, Paisley, Cord of Pink, OK, Cody Wayne Newman of Walters, James Wesley King, Anne, Briley, James Robert, Jackson, Luke of Rock Springs, WY, Justin Ray King, Jessica, Emma and Ella of Walters; his family, Virginia and Steve (Kathy Lovett); his daughter-in-law Angie Lovett; and also Gary (Vicki Lovett). He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home (202 E Colorado Ave, Walters, OK 73572). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (2006 W Missouri, Walters, OK 73572).
