He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Campbell and Carol Lewis (Doug); and his children, Paula Whitman (Mike Whitman), Samuel West (Kristene West), Kelly West, Rebecca Shackelford (Charlie Shackelford), Jennifer Blackford (James), Jon Hughes (Carrie), Jay Hughes (Katie) and Jacen Hughes (Becca). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
