It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Celia Delores Scott in Washington, Oklahoma, born in Lexington, Oklahoma, who passed away on April 11, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Lois Killgore and Woody Killgore; her husbands, James P. Jones (Jim) and Sterling F. Scott; and her son James Edward Jones (Eddy).

She is survived by : her aunt Deana Page of Lexington; her daughter Terrye Dewey (David Nowak) of Norman; her daughter-in-law Teresa Jones of Wayne; her grandchildren, Jessica Bates (Rick) of Wayne, David Dewey (Clare Fletcher) of Sydney, Michele Caldwell (Derek) of Wayne, Julie Sharp (Brian) of Wayne and Caroline Dewey (Ethan Sobczak) of Washington; her great grandchildren, Emyrson Johnson, Dorothy Fletcher Dewey, Adrian Jones, Easton Sharp, Swayze Sharp, Adara Bates, Avah Bates, Joel Caldwell, Ashtynn Caldwell, Carrie Caldwell and Madilyn Sharp; and her great great grandchild Kairen Caldwell.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Little's Chapel, Wilson-Little (127 S Canadian Ave, Purcell, OK 73080).

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The First Baptist Church of Washington.
