Robert leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Robert’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Robert will carry forward his memory in their hearts.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William McKinley Poole and Carol Ruth Carter Poole; and his brother Elbert "Ray" Poole. He is survived by: his brother Delbert Poole of Salina, KS; his niece Jennifer Poole of Sherman Oaks, CA; and his nephews, Jeff Poole of Salina, KS and Carter (Alli) Poole.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 11th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Watonga Ioof Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Wayne's honor to Friends of the El Paso Public Library.
