He was predeceased by: his parents, Dwight Winchester and Leota June "June" Winchester (Brawley); and his brother Clint Winchester. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Winchester; his children, Ron Winchester (Kim) of Bison and Jill Martinez (Reinaldo) of Oklahoma City; his grandchildren, Caitlin Fuxa (Braidon), Mason Martinez, Weston Martinez, Grant Winchester and Claire Winchester; his great grandchildren, McKenna, Rowyn, Wrenleigh and Joel; his brothers, Eric (Kit Winchester), Scott (Melody Winchester) and Jay (Barbara Winchester); Maria Murphy Sweet of Nampa, Idaho. He is also survived by many other extended family members and friends.
Memorials may be made in his honor to Central Christian Church or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital with Brown-Cummings serving as custodian of the funds.
