He was predeceased by: his parents, William Proctor "Bill" and Ida Virginia Lyons (Fowler); and his daughters, Carolyn Sue Lyons Potts, Paula Jeanne Lyons White and Sherry Lynn Lyons Barnes. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
