With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruby Wilkerson (Waurika, Oklahoma), born in Comanche, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 28, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Margie M. Berry (Wilson) and Jack Berry; her husband Albert; her children, Jerry Wayne Wilkerson, Linda Faye Prewitt, Margie Elizabeth Ball, Shirley Ann Wheeler and James Paul Wilkerson; her siblings, Sammy Berry, Billie Hendricks, Alvin Berry, Carolyn Taylor and Dewayne Copeland; and her son-in-law Morris Bryant.
She is survived by: her children, Albert Gene Wilkerson, Roger Dale Wilkerson, Patty Sue Bryant and Michael Lynn Wilkerson (Sherri); her children-in-law, Bill Prewitt and Donna Wilkerson; and her siblings, Ann Thomas, Jackie Berry, Johnny Berry, Judy Greenroyd, Lalonnie McGlockin, Melvin Copeland and Ricky Copeland. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, a few special great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (323 E C Ave, Waurika, OK 73573).
