He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Evans and Wilma Ann Evans (Brace); his wife Imogene Janett Cox; his siblings, Dan Evans, Dean Evans and Edith Haight; and his granddaughter Leslie Golbek.
He is survived by: his children, John Mark Evans (Katrina) of Waynoka and Lisa Lopshire (Monte) of Waynoka; his sister Norma Wilhite of Hardtner, Kansas; his grandchildren, Kathina Kygar (Waylon) of Guymon, Kristen Barwick (Jeff) of Lahoma, Sara Evans (Chantry Canaday), Christina Delay (Robert) of Stinnett, Nicole Lacy (Cody) of Yukon and J. R. Zimbelman (Lindsey) of Waynoka; his great grandchildren, Alex, Jocelynn, Joseph, Jordan, Grady, Reese, Logan, Cutter, Zayla, Olin and Creed; and his sister-in-law Ella Evans of Alva. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Memorial Hill Cemetery.
