She was predeceased by : her parents, Salvador Chavez Ortiz and Emma Lopez Sierpe; and her sister Gracie Hawkins. She is survived by : her former life partner Reid Daniel; her daughter Amy; her husband Patrick Poteet of Weatherford; her daughter Stephanie Shilling (Chris) of Oklahoma City; her grandchildren, Ruby, Ari Shilling and Amy Haderer (Tyler) of Harrah; her great grandchildren, Kreedence, Kobe and Karsen; her son Jason Daniel of Oklahoma City; and her siblings, Rueban Vazquez (Rosario), Javier Chavez Lopez (Jesus) and Dora Irma Chavez Lopez.
