Esther Irene Taylor Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Esther Irene Taylor in Weatherford, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 5, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Zielke and Martha Elizabeth Zielke (Bauer); her siblings, Vicor Zielke (Lois), Adrian Zielke (Charlotte), Riley Zielke (Jean), Ernest Zielke, Winifred Wagner (Claude), Bertha Cornish (John), Donna Teigland (Glen), Erma Ziekle and Gertrude Weaver (Stanley); and her siblings-in-law, Vera Zielke and Charles Anderson.
She is survived by: her sons, Marland Taylor (Jolene), Stephen Taylor (Sara) and Daniel Taylor (Jan); and her siblings, Elva Anderson, Virgil Zielke (Joy) and Forrest Zielke. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the Lockstone Funeral Home (210 Custer St, Weatherford, OK 73096). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Church of Christ (1701 Pine Ave, Weatherford, OK 73096). A burial was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Greenwood Cemetery.
