With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Howard Morrison of Weatherford, Oklahoma, who passed away on October 9, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid James farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For James is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the R. L. Lockstone Funeral Home (210 Custer St, Weatherford, OK 73096). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (1510 E Davis Rd, Weatherford, OK 73096). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery.
