James Loomis Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Loomis of Weatherford, Oklahoma, born in Woodward, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 14, 2025 at the age of 81. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Loomis and Burnice Loomis (Van Winkle); his son Steven Loomis; his brother Jack Loomis; and his brothers-in-law, Gerald Murlin and Dan Brooks.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Loomis; his son Michael Loomis (Cori); his grandsons, Austin Loomis (Meagan), Carter Loomis and Trevor Loomis; his great grandchildren, Eleanor "Ellie" James Loomis and Liam Austin Loomis; and his sisters, Erma Murlin, Anita Blankenship (Ron) and Alice Brooks.
