James Loomis Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Loomis of Weatherford, Oklahoma, born in Woodward, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 14, 2025 at the age of 81. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Loomis and Erma Loomis (Van Winkle); and his son Steven Loomis. He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Loomis; his son Michael Loomis (Cori); his grandsons, Austin Loomis (Meagan), Carter Loomis and Trevor Loomis; and his great grandchildren, Ellie Loomis and Liam Loomis.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM and on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the R. L. Lockstone Funeral Home (210 Custer St, Weatherford, OK 73096). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (1510 E Davis Rd, Weatherford, OK 73096). A burial will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at the Greenwood Cemetery.
