We announce the death of Karla Cole in Weatherford, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 21, 2026, at the age of 84. Karla will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pershing Mills and Elperna Mills (Nix); her son Terry Johnson; her brother Larry Mills; and her close friend Frank Bowles.

She is survived by: her son Steve Johnson of Binger, Oklahoma; her granddaughter Lauren Johnson; her daughter Charlotte of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; her siblings, Donna Hall of Garland, Texas and Gary Mills of Binger, Oklahoma; her sister-in-law Lorene Mills of Clinton, Oklahoma; her close friend Odie Tackett of Binger, Oklahoma; and her friend Kaizlee. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Binger Senior Citizens.
