She was predeceased by: her parents, Chalis L. "Jack" Deaton and Zelma Maude Hight (Crum); and her siblings, Mike, Dennis Deaton and Shirley Rigsby.
She is survived by: her husband Jerry Unwin; her daughters, Melody Lynn Unwin and Jeri Nagle (Corey); her stepson Travis Lee Unwin (Sheila); her brother Henry Deaton; her grandchildren, Nathanial, Zellie and Sadie; and her great grandchild Jaina.
