He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Wesley Garrett Ray and Jean Alice Ray; his wife Carolyn Ray; his sister Karen (Ralph White); his sons, James "Skeet" Ray and Dr. Jason (Kathryn Ray); his grandchildren, Jessa (Cody Jarvis), Jayden (Kaylin Ray), Jaquelyn (Quentin Sims) of James Preston, Ray and Jaelynn Ray; and his great grandchildren, Charlie Wayne Jarvis, Chelsea Jarvis and Callum Jarvis.
