He is survived by: his wife Frances Penner; his sons, Rick Schmidt of Weatherford and Bobby Schmidt (Terri) of Weatherford; his daughter-in-law Amy Schmidt of Erie, Pennsylvania; his daughter Cindy West (Darrell) of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; and his siblings, Marvin Schmidt (Judy) of Nampa, Idaho, Don Schmidt (Marge) of Morro Bay, California, Jan Kliewer of Clovis, California, Bob Schmidt of Denver, Colorado and Carol Isaac (Leon) of Clovis, California.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
