With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roger Glen Pease of Welch, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 13, 2026 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Roger farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Roger is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Milton Pease and Lillie Fern Pease (Carder); his brothers, Ray, Lloyd and Carl Pease; and his son-in-law Cody Mayfield.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Vanatta; his children, Shawn Pease of Reserve, LA, Dustie Pease of Miami, Samantha Mayfield of Miami and Cody Thompson of Miami; and his siblings, Wayne Pease (Stephanie) of Chetopa, KS and Mary Byrd of Miami. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Thomas & Chenoweth Funeral Home (290 W 5th Ave, Welch, OK 74369).
