It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon Joe Miller of Welch, Oklahoma, who passed away on April 11, 2026, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas W. Miller and Nancy Ann Miller (Parks); his wife Billie Alta Miller; and his siblings, Fred Miller, Frank Miller of Woodrow Miller, E. V., Jack Miller, Tom Miller, Bill Miller, Mack Miller, Nina Porter and Irene Phillips.

He is survived by: his children, Greg Miller (Darla) of Welch, OK, Stan Miller (Jill) of Joplin, MO and Melissa Tromsness of Miami, OK; his grandchildren, Dawni Jo Orler (Joshua) and Corey Miller (Patience); and his great grandchildren, Caleb Orler, Amia Jo Orler, Aurora Miller, Everlee Miller and Luca Miller.
