It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Butch Simmons of Wellston, Oklahoma, born in Norman, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 10, 2024, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Gary Simmons, I and Beverley Simmons (Carter) of Wellston; his wife LeWanda (Mattingly); his daughters, Josie Simmons of Wellston and Sydney Simmons of Wellston; his grandchildren, Aurora and Dorian; his brother Brent Simmons (Michelle) of Piedmont; and his stepchildren, Amber Garcia, Leanna Ervin and Jessie Detamore. He is also survived by step-grandchildren, other family and friends.
