He was predeceased by: his father Gerald Wade (Jo Wade) of Tyler; Joyce Wade of Geary, Oklahoma.. He is survived by: his family, Coop, Dogman and Sugar; his significant other Tracy Wade; his children, Teddi White (Russell) and Leo White; his grandson Marshall Wade (Katie) of Olathe, Kansas.; his sister Kelly Wade King (Willy) of Ennis; his nephew Nick King (Jenn); and his niece Lindsay Horn. He is also survived by five great-nephews, and a great-niece.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that people make donations to the Cars Helping Veterans organization in Jay's name.
