He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Jimmie Jett and Ruby Jewell Jett (Sherrin); his grandchild Rowdy Griffin; and his sibling Pat Akin. He is survived by: his wife Jerry Kaye Jett; his children, Deana Hewitt (Edward) of Council Hill, Nicki Harden (David) of Calvin and Jimmie Jett Jr. (Anna) of Lamar; his grandchildren, Travis Hewitt, Matthew Youngblood, Jared Griffin, Tyler Griffin, Colt Jett, Ashtyn Roberts and Boe Jett; and his sisters, Audra Wilson of Des Moines and Ellen Renfrow of Seminole. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, numerous other relatives and friends.
