With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Houston of Wilburton, Oklahoma, who passed away on September 23, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey A. Foster and Minnie L. Foster (May); her husband Deroy Houston; her grandson Haden Houston; and her siblings, Buck Foster, Steve Foster, Betty Smith and Juanita King.
She is survived by: her sons, Kenneth Houston and Greg Houston; her grandchildren, Haily Innis, Josh, Dominick Thompson, Elizabeth, Wesley Clark, Matea Clark, Jerry, Jeremiah Gullifer, Hannah Vaughan and Jordan; her great grandchildren, Reese, Sawyer, Carter, Paige, Gemma, Holden, Jaiden, Sienna, Aislen and Marnie; and her sister Joann Gryder. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Jones Harkins Funeral Home Chapel (201 N Central Ave, Wilburton, OK 74578). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Wilburton Assembly of God Church. A burial was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Damon Cemetery - Wilburton (5424 SW 1005th Ave, Wilburton, OK 74578).
