He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy P. Allen and Sarah Elizabeth Allen (Arnold); his wife Miriam Virginia Allen (Wampler); his son Leon Allen; his daughter-in-law Judy Allen; and his siblings, Dortha Mae Schmitz, Earl Allen and Harold Allen.
He is survived by: his sons, Floyd S. Allen and Mark D. Allen (Nikki); his grandchildren, Tracy Allen (Laci), Kristy Melton (Haskell), Brian May (Tina) and Amber Cox; his great grandchildren, Lexi King (Daxton), Tristyn Allen, Kynli Jones, Sayler Melton, Ellisyn Melton, Brooklynn Shipman, Bailey Hinkle (Mason), Kaden Warner, Kerstin May and Augustus May; and his great great grandchildren, Luxton King, Zemry Gipson and Weston Hinkle. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.
Floyd was devoted to providing support to numerous communities and charities, ranging from donations to St. Jude's to delivering Christmas gifts to local nursing home residents.
