He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hutson and Mary Hutson (Echenrode). He is survived by: his siblings, John Hutson (Susan) of Florida, Mary Louise Hutson (Jeff) of Ohio, Herbert Hutson (Marilyn) of Florida and Joan Hurray of Michigan; his siblings' children, Jemal and Brittany Latoche (Jim) of Ohio; his great-niece Lilian; his great-nephews, John Hutson, Brad Latoche and Hutson Latoche of Ohio; his family Doris; his children, Windy Long, Jay Austin (Amber) and John Wiggins (Renasa); his grandchildren, Cody Austin (Jordon), Rowdy Austin, Colton Austin, Stormy Dull and Blake Dull; his great grandchild Cooper; and his siblings-in-law, Loretta Prock, Patricia Holly (Jim), Ronald Clark (Carol), Lenora Ratcliff (Larry), Lawanda Iseman, Wilma Collins and Kathy Kitchens (Dennis).

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Jones Harkins Funeral Home Chapel (201 N Central Ave, Wilburton, OK 74578). A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Austin Family Cemetery (6250 Limestone Rd, Wilburton, OK 74578).
