He was predeceased by: his parents, George Newton Reed and Lorraine Ruth Reed (Hibbert); his former wife Sheila Reed (Francis); and his siblings, John Reed (Mary Ann), Harvey Reed and Beverly Reed.
He is survived by: his wife Thanya Reed; his son Jimmy Reed; his siblings, Bill Reed (Ann), George Reed, Donna Thompson (Kevin) and Jan Reed; and his brothers-in-law, Eric Francis (Barbara), Gary Francis and Tim Francis (Elaine). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
