He is survived by: his wife Paula James; his sons, Kyle Moody (Crystal) of Kiowa, Jesse James (Jessica) and Isaac James (Jackie) of LeFlore; his grandchildren, Bryce James (Murron), Makinsie Pebley, Gage James, Hunter James, Reese James and Joleigh James; his siblings, Johnny Frank James (Judy) of Hartshorne, Jacky Wilkett of Wilburton, Betty Sartor (Junior) of Poteau, Linda Cohen of Hartshorne and Stacie James of Poteau; his mother-in-law Mary Laudermilk of Hartshorne; his nieces and nephews, Justin and Catrina Wilkett; his nieces and nephews, Johnny, Christie Wilkett, Jackson and Cassidy Wilkett; his friend Lori Ryles of Red Oak; Jayce.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Choctaw Nation Community Center (516 Center Point Rd, Wilburton, OK 74578).
