He was predeceased by: his parents, Felma Heatly and Syble Heatly (Prigmore); his wife Joyce Ann Wheeler; and his sister Carol Lynn Coleman. He is survived by: his children, Jill DeRusha (Randy) and Jack Heatly (Darla); his grandchildren, Jaclyn Christensen (Trey), Kelsey Merz (Kelby), Janelle Lowe (Tanner), Kolby Miller (McKenzie), Jared DeRusha (Alexandria) and Tashina Vogt (Kenny); his great grandchildren, Calvin and Harris Christensen; his grandchildren, Emory, Blair Merz, Aubrey, Lacey, Tyson Lowe, Charlotte, Griffin Miller, Payton Neal and Gage Vogt; and his friend Mary Bailey.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Greer Funeral Home (235 S Pennsylvania Ave, Mangum, OK 73554). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Church of Christ (401 E Lincoln St, Mangum, OK 73554).
