We announce the death of Jean Hatley (Wilson, Oklahoma), who passed away on August 30, 2026, at the age of 87. Jean will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Delbert Lee Cox and Ruth Clara Hockersmith; her husband David Lee Hatley; her son Mark Hatley; her granddaughter Sherry Pelton; and her siblings, Jeannine Butler and Darrel Cox.
She is survived by: her sons, Roger Hatley of Lone Grove, Carl Hatley (Vanessa) of Bakersfield, CA and Phillip Hatley (Donna) of Lone Grove; her brother Donald Keith Cox (Pam) of Ardmore; and her grandchildren, Cory, Joshua, Phillip Craig, Jared, Annemarie and Natalia. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren; and by a host of other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home (1302 7th St, Wilson, OK 73463). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (16773 US Hwy 70, Lone Grove, OK 73443). A burial was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at the Lone Grove Cemetery.
