The passing of Jerruel Ray Morgan Sr. (Wilson, Oklahoma) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on July 13, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cloy Morgan and Mamie Oeita Morgan (Cartwright); his wife Bert; his children, Johnny Travis Morgan and Jeannie Leigh Poplin; and his siblings, Zala D. Elledge, Cloyce Biles and Forest Morgan.
He is survived by: his children, Jerruel Ray Morgan, Jr. (Sarah) of Lone Grove, James Cloy Morgan (Tammy) of Lone Grove and Ruthie Morgan of Norman; his sisters, Myrna Pletcher of Ardmore, Barbara Thompson of Gene Autry and Judy Shelton of Nebraska; and his grandchildren, Jim Gillaspy, Bobby Joy, Doug Henson, Sylvia Dewbre, David Wolfe and Bill Joy. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and many other family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Calendar Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel (1302 7th St, Wilson, OK 73463).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Cheek Baptist Church, located at 1535 Cheek Rd, Lone Grove, OK 73443, or that you visit residents at the Ardmore Veterans Center or a local nursing home in Jerry's honor.
